Plans & limits

The single reference for capacity, retention, and feature availability across Starter, Growth, Scale, and Portfolio Licensing.

Octelligence has three standard plans (Starter, Growth, Scale) and a separate firm plan (Portfolio Licensing) with four tiers. Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial of Starter. The matrices below pull the canonical capacity and feature availability from the product. For prices and billing, see the pricing page; this reference focuses on what each plan can do.

Data residency

Data residency is included on every plan, including Free. Each corporation's records are stored in the region matching its jurisdiction:

  • US corporationsus-east-1
  • Canadian corporationsca-central-1
  • European corporations — EU region
  • Other jurisdictions — default to the US region; contact support for alternative residency

Plan changes are immediate. Upgrading raises your capacity and turns on new features the moment payment is processed. Downgrading takes effect at the end of the current billing period; capacity above the new plan's limits is grandfathered for existing records but blocks new additions above the limit until you upgrade again.

What's not in any plan

  • Public API. Not yet available; on the roadmap.
  • Hardware security keys (FIDO2 / WebAuthn). Not currently implemented. 2FA is TOTP only.
  • SMS authentication. Not implemented; TOTP is the supported second factor.
  • Section-level Viewer scoping. Viewer is read-only across the corporation; per-section sub-scoping is not implemented.

Need help choosing

The shortest path: if you're running one corporation as a founder, Free or Starter. If you're raising priced rounds, Growth. If you're operating multiple entities or want corporation-level 2FA enforcement and diligence dossiers, Scale. If you're a firm managing client corporations, Portfolio Licensing. See the pricing page for tradeoff details and pricing, or contact us if you'd like a recommendation.
