The spring was about consolidation: two products became one, and the platform got a new name. The summer was about making that single platform deeper and easier to run. This release gathers the customer-facing work shipped between June and September, from the stakeholder portal that gives every holder their own login to the bulk import that reconciles an entire options ledger in one pass. The platform re-architecture that ran underneath all of it has its own write-up in the API v2 release.

Two front doors: Equity Vault for holders, Ledger for operators (July 9 and 17)
The equity features that merged into the platform in the spring got a stakeholder-facing home in July. Equity Vault now lives at vault.octelligence.com, where a shareholder, option holder, SAFE holder, or investor signs in and sees only what they personally hold: shares, option grants with vesting, warrants, restricted stock, SAFEs, an ownership summary, and their own certificates and documents. Because it reads straight from the record your team maintains, every holder sees the same numbers you keep, and no spreadsheet leaves your desk.
Your team, meanwhile, works from Ledger at ledger.octelligence.com: the operator front door for maintaining the minute book, issuing certificates, and running the cap table. One record, two audiences, each with a surface that shows exactly what it should.
From approval to signed and filed (June 13 and July 2)
Equity actions carry a paper trail, and this release closed the loop on it. Authorization records (June 13) track board and shareholder approvals for share issuances, SAFEs, option grants, and restricted stock awards. Link an existing approval, upload a document, or generate a review-ready record straight from the transaction data.
E-signature for resolutions (July 2) takes it the rest of the way. Circulate a board or shareholder resolution for signature directly from an authorization record. Signers do not need an account: each person gets a private, single-use link, reviews the exact document, and signs on a no-login page. When everyone has signed, the executed document and its signature certificate are filed to your minute book automatically and the authorization record is marked validated. The path from approving an equity action to having it signed, filed, and on the record stays in one place.
More of the equity book: dividends, restricted stock, and bulk import (June 13 to September 4)
Three additions widened what the cap table and register can hold. Restricted stock awards with reverse vesting (June 13) support cliffs, vesting schedules, partial upfront vesting, percentage-based grants, and 83(b) election tracking; shares appear on the cap table immediately while unvested shares stay subject to repurchase. Dividend declarations (June 14) let you declare by share class, generate the supporting directors' resolution, and keep a structured record linked to the share register, with per-share or total amounts and solvency confirmations.
Bulk import (September 4) then made the whole book fast to populate. Import covers the instruments that used to be entered one at a time: option grants, restricted stock awards, and warrants. Bring an existing equity book in from a spreadsheet in a single pass, each row carrying its holder, quantity, grant date, exercise or strike price, and vesting schedule, with holders matched against your People directory so the same person is not created twice. A historical options ledger or a batch of reverse-vesting RSAs reconciles in minutes rather than being keyed in grant by grant.
Built for firms holding many entities (June 10 to 12)
A run of changes in mid-June targeted the accounts and firms managing dozens or hundreds of corporations. Bulk share (June 10) invites one person to any number of corporations in a single action, with one summary email instead of one per corporation. Corporation tags (June 11) let each person group entities their own way, by client, status, or year, private to their account even on shared corporations. The corporation switcher got a search box (June 11) so you can jump to any entity by name.
Sharing roles were also clarified (June 12): the top role is now Admin rather than "Owner," which better reflects that an Admin can edit a corporation's records and manage who else has access. The Shared with you tab now splits into All, Can edit, and View only, each with a live count. And you can now change the email you sign in with (June 12), effective only after you confirm it from the new address.
Trials and billing you can run yourself (June 5 to 8)
Starter became the entry plan with a 14-day free trial (June 5): a card is collected at checkout but not charged for 14 days, with the countdown shown on Billing. A one-click Cancel trial button (June 5) detaches the card immediately with no day-15 charge and opens a 30-day read-only grace window, so an account does not go dark the moment a trial ends. And if you close the Stripe Checkout tab partway through signup, a one-click Resume signup button (June 8) re-enters checkout with your plan, email, and trial state intact.
Support, built into Ledger (September 11)
Ledger now has a Support area. Open a ticket, see all the tickets you have raised, and hold a threaded conversation with our team, with reply and resolve or reopen, without leaving the app or hunting for an email address. Each ticket automatically carries the corporation you are working in, so we have the context to help from the first reply, and both sides get an email as the conversation moves. It is available to every Ledger user, and it is the first customer feature built natively on API v2.
What's next
The headline of the summer was not any single feature: it was the new engine underneath them. On September 10 we cut the production platform over to a backend rebuilt on NestJS and TypeScript. That work, and what it lets us build next, is covered in the API v2 release. Expect the pace to hold: the changelog updates most weeks, and releases land every 4 to 8 weeks.
By the numbers
- 21 changelog entries across June, July, and September
- 2 product front doors: Equity Vault for holders, Ledger for operators
- 3 new instrument and record types: dividends, restricted stock, authorization records
